Anupa’s choice materials are a part of the luxury spirit that comes with the collection; premium, sustainable materials inside and out. All Anupa products are hand made with a love for the details, as well as the final product. Passion, energy, creativity, and enthusiasm are poured into each piece.
Leather
Anupa works with leather tanneries that are ISO compliant. We use and recycle all of our leather. By using shoe leather, the Anupa Collection is extremely durable while remaining soft to the touch.
Thread
One of the most important materials in the production process is thread. The quality of thread determines how a product wears and how much weight the bag can handle. Anupa uses bonded-nylon, water-resistant thread throughout production. It will not snap or break.
Lining
Anupa’s designs must look as great on the inside as they do on the outside. Anupa herself works with resilient, washable-nylon fabrics. Through the use of water-resistant fabrics, the pieces last and look better over long periods of time.
Zippers
Anupa uses zippers with plastic teeth to create smooth motions when opening and closing bags. Pockets hold strong in wet or humid conditions.
Metal Accessories & Parts
Anupa works with a small, independent zipper manufacturer. All zipper pullers are nickel free. All parts made to age over time.

Traditional cardboard is used to support the base of bag. Anupa uses a recycled rubber that is used in the shoe of a track athlete or sprinter. This base makes a bag light in weight, water resistant and highly durable.

Beading
All beadier work is done during daylight hours by employees who work from home. All work is done with the same strong nylon thread that the accessories are stitched with. Water resistant fabric makes the beadier work against extreme climate elements.
Semi-precious gems
Anupa is conscious about the source of the materials. There are absolutely no “blood stones” used. Cutting is kept traditional and is all done by hand. Stones are cut to enhance the natural qualities of the material.
Packaging
All packaging is fully recyclable velvet, silk and organza combinations. The dust bag packaging is perfect for bag storage.
